Plastic straws suck! Most straws are made from plastics such as polypropylene and polystyrene which, unless recycled, take literally hundreds of years to decompose. Fitzcane’s has searched long and hard and we are pleased to announce that we have sourced a ‘green’ striped straw which is made from PLA and is 100% compostable. And in future we will also be asking you if you would like a straw, in case you want to ‘refuse the straw’ altogether.
