Another reminder to think about where your flowers have come from and what damage they have done on their way to your vase!
Just home from a wonderful weekend in Edinburgh for the Flowers From The Farm Autumn conference. It was truly inspiring and lovely to meet so many members. Looking forward to next season, lots to do now though :) #flowerfarmersparty
An interesting article on the #slowflower movement in Australia. As a flower grower I would encourage everyone to think about where their flowers have come from. Shipped around the world, grown in a cocktail of chemicals by people paid very little for their work. Or you could choose local grown, seasonal, scented blooms grown with love and care. Check out Flowers From The Farm for your local flower farmer :) https://www.lowtoxlife.com/slow-flowers-choose-your-bouquet-sustainably-with-the-new-wave-of-slow-flower-farmers-doing-right-by-people-and-planet/
