Well that has been some lunchtime! Anyone passing by will have seen four police vehicles and two ambulances virtually blocking the centre of Meigle: I'm pleased to be able to let everyone know that the gentleman who was knocked down is well enough to be able to walk away.

Where has the sun and warmth gone? Look what I have had to just do!

It is with sadness - and shock - that I have to let you all know that one of our most regular customers has passed away. Known to most of the coffee shop regulars as 'Jim the Journalist' many of us [ staff and customers alike] have had many a debate with Jim Innes on many a subject. He will be sorely missed. Our condolances go to his wife Rhoda and children Bess & Alex.

Good Morning. We have a Job Vacancy: Hard working conscientious worker required - coffee shop or similar experience would be good but isnt essential. We offer: Daytime work only, no split shifts, share of tips, above minimum wage pay and holiday pay. Hours per week approx 22, typically 11 – 4.30 over 4 days out of 7 including one weekend day every week. More hours will be available in summer. This vacancy is for work from now [we offer an almost immediate start] until January next year but could become permanent for the right applicant.
