Come and visit our showroom At Freddie Simpson joiners & joinery manufactures we are a long established family run business in Maud where we specialise in the manufacture of doors, windows and stairs for our customers both private and trade, in Aberdeen, shire and surrounding areas.
We manufactures bespoke doors internal, external, patio doors, French doors, bi fold and lift and side doors. We also manufacture windows, specialising in sash and case, mock sash and case, casements, fully reversable and tilt and turn.
Our stairs are custom made to order and all our products are made using high quality timber including oak, sapele, pitch pine, walnut and cherry which are all from sustainable sources.

facebook.comA stair manufactured and fitted down at Fraserburgh for a loft conversion. White lacquered spindles and newel posts and Pitch Pine handrails and balls for top of newel posts. Our Pitch Pine is reclaimed and was used for rafters used in the old prison at Peterhead. Spindles also made to match the existing stair in the house.
Walnut stair made and fitted at Portlethen. Stainless steel square handrail on top of glass. Walnut lacquered.
Well that’s the biggest sash and case windows we have made!!! 2.1 meter wide x 4.8meter tall. All ready for fitting at the music hall in Aberdeen.
Front door fitted at Ellon a few weeks ago. Grey spray painted on outside with oak on inside. Stainless steel ironmongery.
Hardwood front door fitted in Aberdeen a few weeks ago, finished in a teal stain and stainless steel hardware.
Sash and case windows fitted in Aberdeen other week, the old ones were beyond repair, soles and sash’s rotten. Heritage spec sash and case with weights and cords. Windows fitted with double glazed units. Our sash and case windows can be fitted with weights and cords or spring balances.
Another staircase supplied and fitted at Newmacher. Open tread stair in oak. Glass checked into stringers and handrails. All oak sprayed in lacquer to give a smooth finish
Another front door and back door supplied up near Insch. 3-point lock with black handles and spray painted. Also laminated with Oak to inside.
Another staircase fitted this week near Newmacher. Solid Ash died to a dark brown then lacquered. Manufactured and fitted by our Joiners.
