Our purpose built log cabin style building, provides a stimulating indoor environment where children are at the centre of the learning. Nursery Cook Required.... Part Time Position 9am-1pm (Monday-Friday) Salary dependent on experience. Job Remit • Prepare nutritionally balanced, attractive meals and snacks for children aged 3 months-5 years, following pre prepared menu and recipes. • Display an awareness of allergens and be able to alter meals to suit all children. • Ensure that hygiene and cleanliness within the kitchen is of the highest standard in accordance with Environmental Health requirements and legislation • Maintain a clean and safe environment for all children and staff throughout the day. • Carry out regular stock take of supplies and orders replacement of supplies as needed. Experience in a kitchen environment is desirable, however full training will be provided. A certificate in Food hygiene is required to be achieved before commencement of the post. This post is regulated work with children and is subject to the provisions of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
