Children and Adults Dancing School in Marlpool, Derbyshire Our dancing school aims to offer a broad selection of dance styles, to suit all ages and abilities. Following the National Association of Teachers of Dancing syllabus, we offer classes in Ballroom, Latin American, Freestyle and Street Dance for both children and adults alike. We take absolute beginners and if desired, train them to become fully qualified teachers in their own right.

While pupils are trained to a high examination standard we also promote a sense of fun and enjoyment in all of our classes. In our annual charity show, every child participates on stage, giving them a chance to perform and the opportunity to share their talent and love of dance.

At the end of the year we celebrate at our presentation dance and present the children with their medals. In addition, approximately twenty pupils receive achievement awards, this recognises their hard work and effort throughout the year.

Established for over 14 years, our team consists of four qualified dance teachers: Sharon Bednall (LNATD), Tim Bednall (LNATD), Miranda Shanley (ANATD) and Louise Sheldon (ANATD), and a large compliment of support staff. All full time and voluntary staff are fully CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) checked. We also follow a number of policies to ensure all pupils safety and protection whilst in our care. All of our classes are well attended, many of our pupils have been with us for over ten years this is testament to our success and commitment to continued improvement.
