BeltUpp is an additional strap that is used with the Group 2 car seat. The belt is designed to hold the child upright in a safe and comfortable position. BeltUpp was designed by parents to help keep their children upright in a safe position. Children fall asleep in the car and as the Group 2 car seat uses the cars own seat belt to hold the child securely in the seat very often you find that the seat belt releases under the weight of the sleeping child and they then slump forwards into an extremely dangerous and uncomfortable position. BeltUpp connects to the cars seatbelt in 2 places, using the spare eyelet in the seat for correct positioning, crosses the child's chest forming an X pattern and holds the child in a safe upright position. It has a quick, release mechanism so doesn't hinder the extraction of the child when necessary.
