For me the truth is, fitness is none of these things alone, but all of these things combined and so so much more.

If you normally don’t like to exercise or eat healthy, here are some ways to add positive feedback (or positive motivation): Find things about the habit activity that you can enjoy–the pleasure of moving or exerting yourself, the sweetness of a smoothie, the tanginess of hummus. Exercise with someone you like, such as your spouse or a good friend or co-worker, and have a conversation as you walk, jog, or workout. Find healthy recipes you enjoy, and enjoy the hell out of them. Find pleasure in learning how to cook healthy food, in the tactile joys of putting your hands on raw veggies. Play sports, where the workout is a game. Allow yourself to post to Social Media after a workout or healthy meal–bragging is a reward! Mark a red checkmark on your calendar each day you eat healthy or exercise. Give yourself a nice healthy reward right after the workout. Drink tea in a slow, calming manner after a workout or healthy meal. There are lots of other ways, but you get the idea. How I work on my 6 pack : loads and loads of sit ups WRONG. I eat a balanced diet with a limited amount of sugar. I had an amazing time yesterday at the launch of a New Vegan Restaurant in London. The popularity of Veganism has certainly increased in the past few years. Going vegan, eating organic, or simply cutting sugar can all be healthy lifestyle choices. But if doing so gives you anxiety about hanging out with friends (what if there's nothing I can eat?!) or makes you fear certain foods, it can actually be quite dangerous. Yep, being too healthy can actually be unhealthy. I am such a strong advocate of BALANCE 🙌🏻. The most important question to ask yourself is: Am I happy? A health-conscious person cares about their body, but a health-obsessed person freaks out over it. Your diet and exercise shouldn't give you anxiety.
