All moving forward as the New Year begins - exciting times!

My new venture will be called Lotus Therapy Centre at The Nottingham Road Clinic. I am excited to bring on board all the amazing therapists who will be working alongside me. It will be a one stop shop of clinical excellence where all your therapeutic needs will be met - mind, body and soul. Services include psychotherapy, family and couples therapy, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, CBT approaches, counselling, grief and trauma therapy, young people's counselling, clinical herbalism, reflexology, massage and reiki. And joining me shortly are a Clinical Psychologist and an aromatherapy masseuse who will be offering other services including skin tag removal. The Lotus flower blossoms out of the darkest and murkiest waters - come along and blossom

And so the New Year fast approaches and such mixed sentiments alongside it... To all of you who are able to party - have a blast. To all of you who've lost someone you love in 2016: 2017 won't be a better year, you'll be filled with grief, longing, first anniversaries and bleakness - hold onto knowing that your happy memories will eventually help your pain subside and your loss will become a precious and more knowing and special part of you. For those facing a cancer battle, hold onto hope and belief, make memories with your loved ones and remember the ripple effect - for every life you touch you leave a a drop in the water that ripples out to touch the lives of many others. Stay here for as long as you can and when you let go, let go knowing you'll be alive in all those around you and forever, the ripples will continue through your partners, your family, your children and your friends. For those alone this New Year 2017 will be another day and a day that rubs salt into a wound. Try and hold onto knowing that someone, somewhere is by your side, today it's me. And for all those facing a year of money worries, health issues, relationship difficulties, mental health diagnosis - make 2017 the year to find help - Step Changes are brilliant at helping with money worries (google them), there are lots of free or low cost counselling services out there - your GP can refer you, MIND, ISAS, CRUSE. My new venture - Lotus Therapy Centre at The Nottingham Road Clinic - isn't free but it is a one stop shop of clinical excellence - psychotherapy, counselling, grief and trauma therapy, medical herbalism, massage, reflexology and reiki. Today you're all in my thoughts and heart ❤️
