The People’s History Museum in Manchester is the national museum of democracy. We aim to engage, inspire and inform diverse audiences by showing ‘there have always been ideas worth fighting for’. The People's History Museum in Manchester is a national museum dedicated to telling the story of the British people's fight for democracy. We use our unique historical collections, exhibition and Learning Programme to celebrate the stories of the radical thinkers who believed in ideas worth fighting for.

We would thoroughly recommend watching Labour - The Summer That Changed Everything. It's an interesting insight into the Labour Party, this summer's General Election and politics in general. Manchester High School for Girls have produced a wonderful cake celebrating 100 years since women's suffrage. It even features our Emmeline Panhurst 'First in the Fight' WSPU banner that we recently acquired thanks to our recent Crownfunding campaign.

Last night's event, The Savage Ink of Steve Bell was fantastic! Thanks to all those who came to the sold out show. There were lots of laughs, insight into the world of cartoons and caricatures, and a number of poignant remarks made by both Cartoon Kate and Steve Bell.
