New bar opening up at the old post office in Urmston The Barking Dog Alehouse & Kitchen has taken over the glorious former post office in Urmston. Purpose built in 1939, this beautiful building has been lovingly restored retaining much of the original character, whilst at the same time making it a proper pub (it even has a snug!)
We employ locally, and support other local businesses.
On the menu you will find home cooked proper pies with all the trimmings, as well as Platters to offer variety (and health!!) Regarding drinks expect plenty of cask ales, craft beers, fine wines and a good gin menu, as well as quality coffees.
Children (& dogs!!) will be very welcome until early evenings, and we will be open 12-12.

Are you a Real Cider lover? We've now dedicated a hand pull to cider, 1st up is the slightly cloudy Rosie's Pig from Weston's. Not the crazy one at over 7%, this is a much more sessionable 4.8%, and is SCRUMPtious!! Cheers
