WUMA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS 2017 Thanks to my old mate Dicker and his crew for another cracking tournament Sunday. Good level of control for the kids fights and some quality adult bouts. Good to catch up with Clive Harrison, Luke Hall and Martin Paradine and see the standard of some of the new clubs on the circuit! Big respect to Jared Witcomb for coming away with Silver after his first experience at Full Contact in the advanced group and well done to Pauline Smith and Nathan Mathias who showed some real spirit by taking Gold in their individual categories then both becoming Champion of Champions by beating everyone in their weight group - Quality Day!!!

NANNA KAY RIP I would like to thanks everyone for their support at Mums Funeral. It was so good to see so many family and friends packing the Church out to pay their last respects to someone very special. I would like to thank those closest to me for making this sad time a little easier for myself and my family - Deep Respect. A Tribute is now set up at the MMA Centre in The Sam Moore Boxing Room over the next couple of days for everyone to come along and see, just let me know in advance please - everyone welcome! TO ALL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS. It is with great sadness that I have to inform you that Mum or Nanna as many new her, passed away last Saturday 4th March. We would like to thank everyone for their kind wishes and thoughts for this special lady who had a great and kind impact on so many. I would like to express my own respect to those closest friends that have done their best to help out and make this sad time a little easier especially with some of the kind gestures made in honour of Mum. Her funeral will take place on Friday 7th April. Everyone that was lucky enough to have known her is welcome to join us for the service at St Marys Church, Kempsey at 1.15pm. Family flowers only but you may make donations to Cancer Research UK on the day if you wish. There will be a Private Cremation for very close friends and family afterwards at Worcester. This is a sad time not only for the family but for our Martial Arts group as she played a large part in the organisation of our many club events etc. Hope to see you at the Church to celebrate the life of one very special person.
