Sport Relief! We are asking customers to donate a pound to take part in the Cooper Challenge which is one of the fitness tests on our New Matrix equipment. The female and male winners will receive a months free membership and a chocolate hamper donated by Tesco's. Everyone who takes part will receive a certificate and be entered in to a draw for prizes donated by businesses in Maesteg. This all starts on Monday 19th March and runs until the end of the month.
We need your vote! Please support us to provide FREE sports, games, arts and creative activities throughout the school holidays for youngsters in Maesteg aged 8 – 12 years. We are bidding to bag a massive cash boost from the Tesco Bags of Help initiative. Tesco teamed up with Groundwork to launch its community funding scheme, which sees grants of £4,000, £2,000 and £1,000 raised from carrier bag sales in Tesco stores awarded to local community projects. Three groups in every Tesco region have been shortlisted to receive the cash award and shoppers are being invited to head along to Tesco stores to vote for who they think should take away the top grant. To vote, you will need to make a purchase within store of any value. You will receive one token per transaction. Voting is open until 30th April 2018.
