History: 2013, January: Dan Huxley-Blythe, former rebel and dreamer, opens Huxley-Blythe Antiques to source, restore and sell exciting furniture in a converted space in Oxford Road Lytham. He trades on eBay and through word-of-mouth recommendations, building a loyal and enthusiastic customer following.
2014, March: HB Antiques takes on the workshop at the Woodlands (rear of 72 Woodlands Road) to accommodate its growing repertoire of antique furniture and restoration techniques.
2017, February: Together with his girlfriend, Rebecca, Dan opens Huxley-Blythe Antiques on Woodlands Road in Ansdell (number 34)
Concept: A new and radical approach, creating lifestyle choices that reject mainstream values of disposable consumerism, offering a sound investment in enduring and beautiful pieces.
