Charity Trust .... SC027281 Homelands Trust-Fife are welcoming guests to our accessible self-catering Lodges and Paxton (drop-in) Centre. The development at Homelands comprise of four luxury Lodges. Three of the Lodges sleep four people (six with a sofa bed) and the fourth sleeps eight people. The Lodges designed with accessibility in mind and can meet the needs of people with a range of disabilities and long-term health conditions. Specialist support equipment such as ceiling tracking hoist, profiling beds, clos-o-mat toilet, riser/recliner chairs etc is provided to ensure a comfortable stay. The buildings are architecturally beautiful and furnished to a high standard, they are truly inclusive and open to all. Guests staying at the Lodges not only have easy access to East Fife's stunning coastline and various holiday activities, but will also be able to use the drop-in centre (The Paxton Centre), just a few yards away. The Paxton Centre is open to guests and day visitors alike. It is a welcoming environment providing group and individual activities. On offer are a variety of alternative therapies, activities and health walks. It is also a place to chat, gain information or just relax with a cuppa.
Room hire is available to anyone for events, functions, meetings etc. The Paxton Centre has stunning views and is a must for your next event. The prices are very competitive, please contact us to discuss your requirements.

HOMELANDS FUNDRAISING 2017 https://mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/kimobrien The focus of our fundraising mission in 2017 is to equip all of our lodges with airflow mattresses. We feel this is extremely important as currently our guests are restricted to the use of one airflow mattress in our Drummochy Lodge and only our Cardy Lodge has a mattress of this type. Additional airflow mattresses would allow guests the opporutnity to book any of our lodges and make their booking journey smoother. Staff at Homelands along with friends are making it our aim to have enough funds to purchase three mattresses by the end of 2017. HOMELANDS WELCOMES NEW DEFIBRILLATOR Staff and volunteers at Homelands completed CPR and Defibrillator training last week provided by Gillian from the East Neuk First Responders. The Homelands team are delighted to welcome the arrival of a new set of defibrillators which are housed on the outside of our Paxton Centre. These will be available in an emergency to our guests, visitors and the general public.

Homelands Trust-Fife in Lundin Links has become the latest organisation in Scotland to gain national recognition for its commitment to customer service, after being awarded WorldHost Recognised Business status. WorldHost is a suite of world-class customer service training programmes that have already been used to train over 10% of Scotland’s tourism workforce. WorldHost Recognised Business status is awarded to businesses that have trained 50% or more of their front line staff using any of the WorldHost training programmes and signed a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. With 75% of its staff trained to WorldHost standards, Homelands Trust-Fife has officially become a WorldHost Recognised Business. SEAGULL TRUST BARGE TRIPS 2017 Calling everyone at Homelands - Accommodation and The Paxton Centre. Fancy an accessible canal barge cruise on the Union Canal and then down through the Falkirk Wheel and back again? We're looking to arrange 2 or 3 trips again this year for Homelands guests and people who use the Paxton Centre. The Govan Seagull and Barr Seagull offer cruises for parties of people of all ages and disabilities on the Union Canal from the Trust's Reception Centre Boathouse in South Bantaskine Estate, Falkirk FK1 5EF. Bookings are restricted to a maximum of 12 passengers, including helpers so it's first come, first served. The boats are fitted with wheelchair ramps, hydraulic lifts and accessible toilet facilities. The cruise starts at 10.30am it's a full day trip with a stop at the Falkirk Wheel to have a picnic lunch before returning to Bantaskine boathouse. I TRANSPORT t's an hour's drive to the start from Lundin Links. It may be possible to arrange a reasonably priced minibus.
