I am very pleased to let you know that Seaton Catering Services will be providing our catering service for the coming season. Many of you will know them from Inchmarlo where their meals are highly regarded. They will start on two Sundays in April - 22nd and 29th - from 10.00 am until 7.30 pm. They will then provide a service on both Saturdays and Sundays with effect from Sunday 5th May, from 10.00 am until 7.30 pm. They will provide a selection of items for breakfast, lunch and evening meal, as well as coffees, teas and scones. We are very fortunate that we will have such an excellent service for the club, and we would urge you to do all you can to support them and publicise this to others in the village and surrounding area. Deeside Golf Reciprocal A new reciprocal agreement amongst a number of local golf clubs has been put in place for this year commencing on 1 April. Benefitting members of the participating clubs, this new initiative will give added value to being a member and is only available to members of the clubs who play in the Deeside League. Full details will be on the noticeboards in the clubhouse.

Thanks to everyone who came along and supported our Christmas Fayre. The fizz was fabulous. We raised £867 which was a fantastic sum. Thanks to you all, particularly to the Ladies in the kitchen, the raffle sellers, the stall holders and the barman!

The course on the day of the last counting competition of the season. Freezing cold, but dry. Not the best scores. Now time to practise for next year.

Sunday turned into a lovely day after the torrential rain which left a river running over the third fairway first thing in the morning. Just one more competition to go - Winter Cup on Sunday, 29 October before some of you put your clubs away for the winter.

Lovely sets of fungi on the course today. Perhaps should have paid more attention to the golf. No excuse on this lovely autumnal day.

Junior prize giving at 6.30 pm in the clubhouse followed at 7.30 pm by the Adult one. Please come along and pick up your prizes, including the Magic Twos money.

The last uplift from the Rag Man will take place on Friday, 3 November. If you would like to donate any clothes, please bag them up and leave them in the Ladies Locker Room prior to 3 November. And please do not include any towels, bedding or duvets. Bags may also be left with Helen or Kathleen.
