Just gotta admire this scooter, built this engine last summer just before Mersea. Gt186 kit ports lightly tweaked, 60 x 110mm jap rod crank, 30 phbh, Evo pipe 21.8 hp 17.1 tq

Can beat the Polini 177 kits, bang for buck in my opinion. This ones been built with modified std P200 crank for the longer rod, 6mn packer, special small end bearing to suit 15mm pin, std cosa clutch ans Tsr Evo right hand pipe, 24 si carb. Needs a bit more of a tweak to suit pipe. Last pic is of a Polini 177, 20mm si carb, modified Pinasco pipe overlayed on above engine. We can keep it simple and not expensive with thought and £25 Labour rate

Enjoyed this T5 engine build, matched cases to cylinder, new bearings, Drt cush drive, new primary drive as old was hanging on with half the rivetts, new clutch, malossi springs, new cruciform and selector shaft into a motor with malossi 172 kit, 24 std carb with a scorpion pipe
