Such a cold day at Wellington Regionals yesterday. I didn’t quite get the best test from Cloud after a very scary tack check! But delighted we got there and that he tried in the ring despite a snow storm. The test improved throughout - shame you don’t get two goes! Thank you so much for all the support yesterday. Had a lovely positive outing with Miss Hit II at Wellington regionals yesterday. Played it a little too safe to be as competitive as we know she can be, but after a few wobbly weeks at home, we were just delighted to be there and have a nice time! Just pipped to 11th. Let’s hope we don’t get snowed in and can make it back with Cloud on Tuesday! ❄️ Wellington is such a brilliant venue now. Fantastic surface even though it was so cold and lovely warm cafe to escape to. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves 👏🏾

Stunning 4yro, 15.3hh black Gelding by Danciano (De Niro lines) This fabulous kind, little horse has it all. He has beautiful, correct paces, with real natural cadence and a particularly good walk. Apart from being exceptionally good looking, he has the most wonderful willing temperament. I backed him at the end of last summer and turned him away for a couple of months over the winter, hoping he would grow a bit, but sadly I am just a bit tall for him. He has such a trainable temperament, and would suit an amateur or professional and could be a contender for the age classes. He is confidently under saddle and ready for his first outing. He has started to hack out and has seen traffic - nothing has phased him in the slightest. He is not silly or spooky, is free from quirks and vices, with a mind that belies his years. I have no doubt will make someone a really fantastic competition horse.
