Description
Community based amateur boxing club Rochester's Amateur Boxing Club
offers it's Adult Members 4 Sessions a week, 90 minutes each session and the Junior Members 3 Sessions of 60 minutes.
All training session will be facilitated by Qualified I.A.B.A Level 1 Boxing Coaches, consisting of Warm ups, Cardio circuits, Bag circuits, Technical Instruction, Pad work, Ring Craft, Sparring, Abdominal Circuits, Cool downs and stretching.
Guest Speakers will occasionally be invited into the Club to give talks on subjects such as Nuitrition, Supplements, Sports Injuries and Training to Compete.
Goal To develop solid Boxing fundamentals and base fitness level.
• Basic Offensive & Defensive Technique
• Basic Footwork
• The Boxer’s Workout: Rope, Shadow Boxing, Hitting the Heavy and Light Bags
• Basic Mitt Work, Conditioning and Strength Training.

Well it's official Nigel & Mannie both passed their aiba 1 Star Coaching course.
Big well done to D Jay Dougherty 2day representing the Club in the NW Zones. Beat on points to a strong opponent from Letterkenny, boxed well, gave it everything, left it all in the ring, that's all any coach can ask of their boxer's. Again well done buddy you did us proud, your time will come!
