It's OK Toby darling Still sadly waiting on is new home to be offered. Can you only imagine how difficult rescue life can be for a young male cat........from roaming his territory, exploring and seeking every new adventure one day to being confined to an enclosed cattery with other cats the next day. Some cats adjust but for others like Toby the rescue days are long and these days he prefers to spend his days watching and waiting in his red kennel and for a friendly face to poop by. Toby is 1 of 3 cats that came into our care when sadly their owner became sick and could no longer care for them, Toby is the last to find his forever new home. He is a beautiful friendly 2 year old black cat who is terribly unsure of his surrounding and is seeking someone to offer him that freedom he is desperately seeking. If interested in offering Toby his new beginning please either visit him at the Centre or for more information please ring the centre directly to discuss. Centre and phone line are open 12-4pm Tues - Sun 028 71812882. Please do not pm the message for more details as the page is managed off site. Photo by Beth Ellis Photography

Tucker The extremely handsome Tucker was a dog we met on a visit to our local council dog pound where he had found himself as an unclaimed stray. Tucker is a border Collie aged approx 3-5 years old. He has a friendly temperament greeting everyone he meets as a new best friend, he also enjoys a game of football with whoever will play with him. Tucker has just finished his quarantine period so therefore had not been mixed with other dogs yet and going by his reaction so far we would at this point seek a home with no dogs or cats. Tucker has a great temperament so therefore would see no problems rehoming him to a home with children. If interested in offering Tucker his forever new home please visit the Centre during opening hours 12-4pm Tues - Sun or for more information contact on 028 71812882.

The Forgotten Brothers Harri and Frazer came into our care during August 2016 alongside their other 3 litter mates that have since been re-homed. After spending a period of time being socialised in a foster home the brothers were returned to the Centre to seek their new beginning but unfortunately they are overlooked probably because they are older black kittens. It is a well-known fact that black cats and kittens are terribly overlooked in rescue. The brothers gained confidence in their foster home and sadly since coming back into our care their confidence has taken a knock but we have no doubt once settled in their forever home their confidence will make an appearance once again. Now 6 months old Frazer was always the shyer of the brothers whereas Harri has a more cheeky character. We hope to re-home the boys together as Harri often seeks comfort from his brother Frazer. They previously shared a foster home with the family’s pet dog and cats. If interested in offering the boys their forever home please visit the centre during opening hours 12-4pm Tuesday – Sunday. Harri and Frazer are neutered, vaccinated and have up to date treatments. Photos by Beth Ellis Photography

Meet Snoopy Snoopy is a Collie/Spaniel x aged approx 7 years old. He came into our care recently when his owner became to ill to care for him. Snoopy is a placid dog who enjoys a calm life, potting along on his walks whilst taking every opportunity to show you his favourite trick - offering you his paw and he will sit in your company forever Although he hasn't been mixed with other dogs yet we do not foresee any problems. Snoopy would be suitable to a home with children, he is house trained and seeks a home with no cats, as he isn't too keen on his feline friends! If interested in offering Snoopy his forever new home please visit the Centre during opening hours 12-4pm Tues - Sun or for more information contact on 028 71812882.

Introducing Mo Found as an injured stray Mo was handed into the team at Drumahoe Veterinary Clinic where he was treated for the wounds before coming into our care. He is a Lurcher aged approx 2-4 years old with a gentle and loving temperament. At times Mo can be slightly nervous so for that reason we seek a quieter home although this may be caused by the kennel environment he has now found himself in. Mo has not been mixed with other dogs yet but we do not foresee any problems and can be re-homed with children. If interested in offering Mo his forever new home please visit the Centre during opening hours 12-4pm Tues - Sun or for more information contact on 028 71812882.
