Hosted by Hillingdon Outdoor Activity Centre (HOAC), this traveller series event will include the following classes of equipment: Laser, RS Feva, Topper, RS Tera A detailed Notice of Race (NOR) as well as Sailing Instructions (SI's) will be provided nearer to the time of the event. The London Youth Sailing Association (LYSA) is partnered with a range of London based sailing locations which have pledged to promote the development of youth-oriented sailing activity within the region. Each location and the events that they host, such as regional traveller series regattas, provide opportunities for participants to either make use of venue owned equipment (boats) or for participants to bring their own. Competitors wishing to take part in these regional events must be a member of the London Youth Sailing Association.
This regatta is the Sailing specific event for Europe's largest youth sporting festival, the London Youth Games Over 2,000 young people from across London train as part of London Borough teams in order to enter the event Over 230 sailors compete over the two day event Near 50:50 female to male participation Fully inclusive event catering for both Physical disability and learning disability Over 80 volunteers help to deliver the two day event More than 25% of event volunteers are past competitors More than 27 of the 33 London Borough regularly enter
