Both the Fridge and the new mezzanine are starting to look serious...the Oven is next to get the xcult climbing treatment!
This year we will be hosting a Summer Party extravaganza with three independent FUN COMPETITIONS, with SERIOUS PRIZES, to showcase our 3 NEW BOULDERING AREAS in all their glory. We will have a BBQ (meat + veggie options of course) as well as other refreshments. We will also have Evolv down on the day with their boot stock for a boot demo! If this wasn’t enough we will also have music by NeoPink! Each competition will require different climbing skills and capabilities so don’t miss out, who knows you may even be KING or QUEEN of the “MEZZ”/”FRIDGE”/”OVEN”. We would like this event to contribute to raising funds for those affected by the Grenfell Tower fire. Therefore we will be charging a normal entry fee (£10.50, Normal entry. £5, for Junior and Concession) but all proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross London Fire Relief Fund (http://ow.ly/qG1930djjt9). This will get you entry into the competitions. Food and refreshments will also be available to buy in the shadow of the outside wall. More details to follow, so watch this space.
NEW MALE AND FEMALE BRITISH BOULDERING CHAMPIONS - 2017 Leah 'my-biceps-are-bigger-than-your-biceps' Crane takes top spot for the females with Mr Birkenstock/Tyler Landman reclaiming his 2015 title to become our No.1 boulderer. Great to see Molly Thompson-Smith 2 steps away from the title also. Congratulations to everyone!
