Hi! My name is Oliwia. I’m a mom to an almost two year old Kiara (though if I measured her strong will in years, she would be more like 22 years old), wife to Mark and a furry godmother to 2 rescue cats Smudge and Conker. I’m also an employee, employer, sister, daughter, friend, neighbour, nurse, cook, cleaner, teacher, counsellor, politician, artist and occasionally a pretend cat. Woman, for short.
As my life went on, I moved further and further away from my Fairyland. Then I had my tiny person and amongst the poop, sleep deprivation, pain, never ending guilt and complete submission to another person, well, there was the magic in the mess and the wonder in the wild. And it made me remember my Fairyland again. 12
By no means did I have the perfect childhood, but I have to give my parents that: they have allowed and encouraged us to let our imagination run wild, they read to us, they pretend played with us, they drew, crafted, sang and danced. They also threw us some pretty magical parties. I don’t need to make my daughter childhood magical. The magic is in her. I need to ensure that she’s surrounded by people and environment that celebrate it!
When I came across Just for Tiny People products (and most of all their tepees and other hideaways), my imagination started running wild for three reasons: one because I can see the adventures a tiny person can have with the products; two because it brought my childhood right back; and finally three because it gave me an opportunity to start something small of my own with a sole purpose of celebrating the awe and magic that tiny people have for the world around them.
And here I am. So have a look at these beautiful, handmade (mostly by other moms), high quality JFTP products and see if they’d fit in yours and your tiny person’s Fairyland.
