Jules Thin Crust was born over twelve years ago when John and Jan Ordway searched in vain for a restaurant that would attract and properly nourish their two young daughters and, at the same time, whet and satisfy their own, more sophisticated adult appetites. After exploring every available option in or near their Bucks County, Pennsylvania town, they decided to create the restaurant they sought. After careful thought and meticulous attention to both its cuisine and ambience, they opened their own establishment.  
Today, that first Jules Thin Crust, like nine others that have swiftly followed in America, remains an alluringly modern, utterly comfortable destination where healthy, organic food is paramount, community involvement important, and where employees enjoy an exciting, positive work environment.

So why Jules London?
As is so often the case, especially with the very best things, the answer is pure serendipity. George Porchester, a family friend, has been visiting the Ordways for years. Over that time, he has watched Jules grow and brilliantly evolve. The ‘alternative pizza’ concept at its core – that of a healthy, organic, and affordable meal –  immediately caught and has echoed ever since in George’s imagination.

With a few authentically British tweaks and twists, he and his team have, at last, brought Jules across the Atlantic – to Putney, the perfect port of embarkation.

The Product
Jules Thin Crust is no ordinary pizza restaurant. Our ingredients are seasonal, locally sourced and, wherever possible, organic. A proprietary flour to produce our incomparably thin and tasty crust; the highest quality Mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses; exquisite, finely chopped organic tomatoes blended into an irresistible sauce; gourmet toppings that include (but are never limited to) roasted portabella mushrooms, artichoke hearts, Kalamata olives and piles of fresh arugula ensure you’ll never run out of delectable options.
All Jules Thin Crust pizzas are made fresh on site from original recipes every day. Not only do they taste great; they are good for you.
That’s because we start with our uniquely hot, thin, crispy crust, made from organic dough - then top it with superb, locally sourced organic products. Taste and quality are our watchwords at every stage. We use no additives ever – no bad stuff!
