The George is a 200 year old Public House situated in South Woodford. At The George we have something to suit every occasion. Whether it's a relaxing haven from shopping, a place to meet friends or colleagues from work or you can simply find a quiet corner to grab a drink or a bite to eat.

You'll find everything from pub classics to modern favourites on our pub food menu, whether it's Fish & Chips you're after or Tagliatelle with Portobello Mushrooms.
We are all about great food and great value every day of the week. We also have some really fantastic deals - you can get a grill and a drink for Wednesday Grill Night. And on Thursdays you can pair up a delicious curry with a drink.
