Welcome to the official Facebook page of Merchant Taylors' School. One of the 'Great Nine' schools of England, we have provided outstanding educational opportunities to boys in the London area since 1561. By any criteria, our boys make us one of the 'top ten' boys' schools in the UK. Ours is an exceptional learning community that provides a first class education in a humane and civilised environment. We value breadth of achievement as much as success at the highest level. Of greatest importance to us is that boys grow to be independent and free-thinking members of a diverse community and that they develop: confidence; the essential skills for life after School; and a set of positive and morally secure values that will provide the foundation to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing world. facebook.comArmistice Parade at Ypres MTS and St Helen's CCF attended the Armistice Parade in Ypres over the weekend. Thirty six cadets and five staff attended with six Cadets selected for the wreath-laying party to assist royalty and VIPs. A wreath was also laid at the grave of one of the greatest MTS sportsmen, John Raphael, a former British Lions captain who was killed at the Battle of Messines in 1917.

Sunday 25th June will be a huge day for cricket fans at MTS as the Lashings All-Stars come to school to take on the MTS 1st XI. The Longstops event will be supporting the MTS Senior Cricket Tour to Sri Lanka in 2018 and the Spanish Cricket Tour. Please invite your friends and family to be entertained in the company of some of the legends of the game. The day starts with a three course Sri-Lankan lunch in a private marquee. Entertainment will be provided by the Lashings All Stars team including test match commentator Henry Blofeld. Tickets cost £55 per person and must be booked in advance.
