Female purveyors of alternative folk and blues music, hosting events on the rivers of London and safely avoiding the charts since 2007.
Independent record label founded in 2007 and run by women. Hosting exclusive performances by artists from around the globe and local community events on board a river boat in a unique part of London. River Rat Records assists in the performing, recording and release of specialised folk, blues and alternative music.
River Rat Records also programmes live shows for international touring artists at the Hyde Tavern, Winchester. Artists include: Ruth Theodore (UK), Hamell On Trial (USA), Jeff Lang (AUS), Kathryn Roberts and Sean Lakeman (UK), Amanda Rheume (CAN).
