Following the Reserve team's tree felling work to open up flightlines to encourage more bird movement between the Millenium Wetlands and the estuary, the Slimbridge team came over to Llanelli to join volunteers to help burn brash and create log piles. Well done to all involved and thank you to our helpers!

❤️Happy St. #Dwynwen's Day! ❤️2018 marks the 6th anniversary of Pineapple, a Nene, & Lucy, a Cape Barren Goose. These cwtchy #lovebirds are always together & Pineapple has even altered his call to match her pig-like grunts! Each year they build a nest & lay a sterile egg that can never hatch... 😭

Good morning! The gift shop will be closing at 4pm today for a stock take. The restaurant and centre will remain open as normal. The shop will be closed all day tomorrow and reopen on Thursday. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

Grab your wellies, get outside and have a splashing time at Dusty’s Puddle Jumping Championships this February half term at WWT Llanelli. Bring your friends and family and see who can make the biggest splash with our special ‘splashometer’; extra points for enthusiasm and style! There will be plenty of time for you to perfect your splash in our practice puddle jumping areas before the main event each day. The best splasher of the week will win a fabulous prize and daily winners will be entered into a prize draw.
