The West Lothian Handyman DIY School is a tuition service/ course provider aimed at those with little or no prior experience in DIY. We offer a range of courses suitable for anyone looking to save some serious cash and tackle those home improvement jobs themselves.
Whether you are thinking about hanging a door, tiling a bathroom or papering a room our choice of courses are a hgreat starting point if you are looking for some hands on practice in a worry free environment. We will give you the chance to try your hand at your chosen skill and offer expert advice giving you the confidence to complete those jobs around the home.
You will also have the chance to use a variety if trade specific hand tools and power tools. We can advise on the best tools for your projects if you are looking to buy your own. We can also tell you where to get the best prices for your materials saving you further cash when it comes to starting your own DIY project.
Courses we will be offering include;
*5 Day Intensive Carpentry course
* 2 Day door fitting course
*1 day Introduction to Paper hanging course
*1 Day Introduction to Tiling course
*Weekend Tiling course (Sarurday & Sunday)
In addition to these courses we will be launching some 3 hour evening courses covering smaller projects such as home maintenance, drywall repairs, installing skirting and architrave etc.
