Female Personal Trainer / ABA Boxing Coach / BSc Honours Sport Science / Twitter: @PT_AshEdwards I have a BSc Honours degree in Sport Science. I am very passionate about health, sport and fitness. I have been involved in the fitness industry since I was 9 when I started boxing training to keep fit. At the age of 11 I had my first competitive fight. From then I continued to box until the age of 16 when I became the youngest female boxing coach on Merseyside.

From then I coached 4 times per week in my local gym, children from the age of 3 up to adults of the age of 45 both male and female.

I have worked in numerous schools, sport centres and gyms across the city getting children active and teaching them self defense. I have also worked on regional boxing squads across Merseyside with elite boxers and GB coaches. I have cornered and coached over 500 male and female boxers to the finals of major competitions such as the ABA's, Novices and School Boys.

I also work for Everton FC in the Community and teach regularly in primary & secondary schools.

My knowledge from my Sport Science degree and years of experience within the industry has enabled me to succeed and help my clients achieve amazing results via lots of different methods. My aims are to help people change their lifestyle and improve their long term health.

Throwback to hitting my 40kg over head press! I ended up progressing to 5 reps @ this weight with my personal best being 42.5kg for 2 reps. I really miss lifting this heavy, with being pregnant I have had to reign it in a little. But it hasn't stopped me from weight training in the slightest. Weight training has a billion benefits wether your looking to lose fat or build muscle. If like me your constantly looking to ever improve your body & keep losing fat, weight training is the way forward. Building muscle (toning up), losing fat, getting stronger, looking leaner, dropping dress sizes, decreasing inches & building shapely curves. What more do you want from a weight training program! Great little finisher circuit to end Paula's session this evening! 3x45s rounds of prowler, battle ropes & med-ball slams! We are working on full body training sessions during this current phase of training. Developing shapely curves & improving strength! Keeping fit & getting in shape should be fun! & this circuit definitely is, although Paula might say different! 😂🙈
