Greenhill Methodist Church (the 'hidden church') is located at the top of Clough Road, Littleborough. Greenhill Methodist Church (the 'hidden church') is located at the top of Clough Road, Littleborough. It originated about a mile further up the lane in a hamlet known as Croft when a preaching room was set up in the upstairs of one of the cottages. It served the hamlet and the surrounding area with people attending from as far afield as Walsden. The present church was built to house the growing congregation in 1860 with the Sunday School added in 1928.
Services are held here every Sunday morning at 10.30 a.m. with various special services, bible study meetings, and social events held regularly. A warm welcome is given to all who visit Greenhill, both old and new friends.

On Saturday, 4th November, we are happy to welcome Hindle Wakes, a popular local folk group, to perform at Greenhill. Commencing at 3 pm, tickets cost £5, including . refreshments
Greenhill ' s Carol Service will be held on Sunday, 18th December, at 6 pm. Rev Ruth Jackson will conduct the service and everyone is welcome.
Greenhill is playing host to Oldham Community Choir on Saturday, 23rd July. The concert will commence at 2.30pm. Admission is £5 which includes Light refreshments. Everyone welcome.
This year marks 150 years since the present church was built and several events have been arranged for 2016 to celebrate this birthday. These are listed as follows : Saturday, 23rd April, 11.00 am Spring Fair with various stalls, including a grand Bazaar of new and used items for sale. Admission is free. Potato pie lunch available (£4 each) Sunday, 1st May, 2.30 pm Anniversary Service, conducted by Rev. Paul Martin, District Chairman, followed by buffet tea. Saturday, 2nd July, at 3.00 pm Garden Party at 6 Welbeck Avenue, admission £5 Saturday,23rd July, 2.30 pm Oldham Community Choir, conducted by Mr Edward Rigg. Saturday, 1st October, 2.00 pm Brain Teaser Quiz, followed by Pie and peas. Admission £5. Saturday, 15th October, 2.00 pm Rochdale Borough Pop Choir followed by afternoon tea. Tickets £5. We look forward to welcoming old and new friends to any of these events at Greenhill.
