At JR Farming LLP we pride ourselves on our Pedigree, Red Poll Herd that are based on our organic family farm in Little Canfield. Ladlers Red Poll Herd are grazed on our Organic, Family Farmland and on the nearby ancient woodland, Hatfield Forest. They have a diet of grass, hay and haylage.

Red Poll Beef Qualities are:- Exceptional tenderness, Good marbling, Fine grain, Succulent texture, Full flavour, British Beef like it used to be!

Red Poll are protected and promoted by the Rare Breeds Survival Trust, eating them ensures the survival of the breed.

This hardy breed of cattle thrive on non-intensive low input, natural farming environment with a simple grass diet. They are ideal for grazing on land managed to conserve wild life habitats and encourage bio diversity. Able to cope in all weathers and with a calm temperament they are perfect for grazing public sites.
