Bringing your pet to the practice
In the interest of all other clients and animals could dog/cat owners please keep their dogs on leads & cats kept confined to a carrier at all time whilst in the practice. (Leads & carriers can be provided at reception if you forget your own)

Routine Operations
Animals that are booked in for routine surgery should arrive at the practice between 9.00-9.30am. You will be asked to read & sign a consent form before your pet is admitted. If you are unsure about anything please ask one of the nurses or reception staff.
Most operations are carried out in the morning. We ask that you telephone between 1.30-2.00pm to see when your pet will be ready for collection.
Most routine operations are carried out under general anaesthetic or sedation, therefore food should be withheld after 7.00pm the night before.
You will be given further details when you book an appointment.

Repeat Prescriptions
Medication can be ordered any time during our opening hours & if possible please give 24 hours notice. Any medication will be ready for collection after 2.00pm the following day.

Medication Checks
Animals that are on long term medication are required to have a check up with a vet every 6 months. This is due to E.U regulations.

Payment
We accept most debit & credit cards, but unfortunately we DO NOT accept American Express.
In order to keep administrative costs to a minimum we ask that payment is made at the time of treatment & on collection of medication.
Please feel free to ask for an estimate & if you are concerned about payment please speak to Peter Munro who is the proprietor of the practice before any procedure is undertaken.

Weigh-In Club
The practice offers weight clinics with our veterinary nurse Anna Stringer RVN.
Appointments are available on Wednesday & Friday.
