For anyone struggling we want you to remember that you aren’t alone and there is lots of support for you. BG’s student advice are fantastic and offer all sorts of services including counselling, their reception desk is at the entrance of the library, or you can email them for an appointment on firstname.lastname@example.org There is also a lot of good support online, one of which is the young peoples section of the website grief encounter. https://www.griefencounter.org.uk/young-people/

Today is international women's day where we celebrate how far we have come for the rights of women. As a campus that is a clear majority of female students, today we celebrate just how much our students have achieved and how much more is yet to come. Yet, today we also reflect on how much we still have to do. The #MeToo campaign and the oppression of Black LGBT+ women to see that there is so much work to be done. The only way to change anything is to listen, learn and speak out. "Let us build bridges - not walls"
