So yesterday was possibly one of the toughest days of being in business! The hydro centre was broken into, along with 3 other businesses on the site. Although everything they took got dumped so we have it back, the feeling that someone can do this to our business is sickening! So please excuse our broken window, and please be very careful as there is still a lot of glass around. Thank you to everyone who has already helped us and given their support. It's times like this that show how lucky we are to have such an amazing support network around us, and its given us the boost we needed to have a good clear out! Every cloud.... ⛅
Space available 5.30pm today! Message to book!
We have a whole range of shampoos now to choose from! Trea tree, Oatmeal, Aloe Vera, or Manuka honey! All have different benefits for the skin and coat. Just £2 extra after a swim! Bargin!
Helping Hands Veterinary Physiotherapy
Exciting Announcement Alert! Helen, from Helping Hands Vet Physio is joining us at the centre. She will be taking over on Wednesday doing land based physiotherapy, hydrotherapy or both! We are so lucky to be working alongside such an experienced and knowledgeable physiotherapist. Helen has supported us from day 1 so it is great that we can finally get to link together. We will be sharing much more about Helping Hands, and about physio is general from now on but if you would like to book in for a session with Helen please message our page or hers.
Insurance! Obviously we deal with a lot of insurance companies, luckily we have never had a bad experience but I wanted to tell you about my experience! I was with Morethan pet insurance as it came highly recommended and 4 years ago when I first took it out it was the beat deal! Paying £32 a month for up to £12,000 lifetime cover, and £1,500 complimentary therapy cover which is obviously important to me as I know how important rehab is! This month they have shot both my monthly payments to over £50! All because I have moved house, so my vet bills may be more... I haven't changed vets! I have never made a claim and my dogs are still fit and healthy. I have now moved to broughtbymany insurance, paying £55 a month for both dogs, with £14,000 lifetime cover and £2,500 complimentary therapies. Shop around and always check what you are paying for. I thought I would never get a better deal but saving over £50 is amazing!
Why Your Dog Needs Hydrotherapy.
How many treats in the jar!? Take a guess when you come for your swim! Win the treats and the jar! £1 per go.
This is the lovely Jess, she has been coming to us since November 2017! When she first came she wasn't too keen, but with a little confidence, trust building and lots of cuddles she now knows we won't let her drown! 😊 Jess suffers from hip dysplasia. When she first came to us the plan was to try and slow down the deterioration of her condition but to also try and put off her having to have an operation for as long as possible! We have now had the excellent news that, after her latest x-rays, the vets are happy that the damage being done to her hips has slowed down so much she will now no longer need an operation!! 🤩 Instead Jess will continue coming to us for her weekly swims. Which I think we all agree is a much better outcome than having to go under the knife! We are so so pleased with not only how much her confidence has grown but also the improvement we have made to her quality of life! This is why we do what we do!! 🥰
