Lichfield Fuse Festival
Description
Lichfield Arts presents its flagship event, Fuse Festival 2018, a free community, family friendly music and arts festival. July 13-15th 2018 Beacon Park Fuse festival was originally set up back in 2001 by Lichfield Arts. Back then the project sought to offer an alternative or fringe, to the Lichfield Festival already running in the City. The aim was to provide live music in a free setting that would be accessible to all.
These days Fuse has grown beyond its humble beginnings in a small tent near Stowe Pool into one of the largest free community events of its kind in Staffordshire. Now housed within Beacon Park, Fuse will be in it’s 16th year in 2017.
Although so much has changed, the core values and objectives remain the same. The Lichfield Arts Fuse team headed up by Natasha and Cathy, work hard to provide an opportunity for everyone to access a wide variety of live music and the arts. Despite funding pressures, Fuse remains a free entry event, something the team remain immensely proud of.
