Rhynd Farmhouse update! Paint’s going on upstairs and carpets are going down on Monday. We have people staying as a trial run next weekend. Nothing like a deadline to get everything moving...! We’ve spent a long time making sure the details are right, from the brass light switches and sockets, to the cast-iron radiators and brass handles for the original shutters.

Great to see the Imp Club at the Café this morning (with an interloper on the end!). Do you own a classic car? Would you like us to do classic car Sundays on the first Sunday of every month? Bring an interesting car and you get free coffee?!

Lots of you have been asking how the Rhynd Farmhouse works have been coming along. Well, here's an update! * Two out of three new roofs have been done. * New windows are in. * Joinery is nearly finished. * The kitchen is in. * The underfloor heating is going in, along with the tiles. * The plastering is well underway. * The drains have been unblocked and renewed. * Ceilings have been taken down and renewed. * Painting is about to start. * The bathrooms have all arrived and are ready to put in. * The old dairy is nearly gone! * A new wall has been built in the garden to replace the rotten fence. * The snazzy, new, cast-iron radiators are ready to fit. * The fireplaces have all been opened up and repaired. * The paint is nearly stripped off the stairs...! There's plenty more work to be done, but we're looking at a soft launch at the end of September! You can rent this amazing place, just 20 metres from the event space, for your wedding!

Did you know that we have a livery yard near the Rhynd? Not only is there a full-time groom, but there's also loads of well-maintained grass fields. You can ride to the beach, there's riding across the farmland and there are also cross-country jumps to practice on. Looking for a grass livery that your horse/pony will love?
