Leominster - antique/vintage hunters delight
Latest acquisition- from a country house sale. The lady of the house told me her father, she, her children and grandchildren have used it over 100 years. Lovely to have provenance and she was delighted to know where it was going - her father was the founder of Wyvale Nurseries.
Cold,very, wet, very and windy, horrid outside, but fires woodburners and thick curtains make Wickton COSY
Homegrown and appreciated by our guests! Turned out to be a top hotelier who just re-booked for Spring for another 3 nights - and dinner. Wouldn't drop the names of the hotels he has run for obvious reasons, save to say, I was a little in awe when I found out !
Worth a visit
Before Christmas, there was Wassail. Still celebrated in Herefordshire - apple-abundant county!
