Over the past 6 months I am so proud to say that I taught to my full capacity, seeing 25 private students on a regular basis, teaching at Stowe School 3 days a week, helping MD local show as well as various workshops around the country! And I've loved every minute! Tonight I had to say goodbye to a lot of students as I simply won't have the time once I start my new job back in the West End in Wicked! I'm so excited for my next adventure and to be on stage again, but I just wanted to say thank you to all of my wonderful students for the past 6 months! I will continue to teach as and when I can but now have an even longer waiting list! If anyone is wanting a one off lesson or to run some audition material please always ask and I will help where I can! Here's some background info about myself! I graduated from GSA Conservatoire in 2007 with 1st Class Hons Degree in Musical Theatre. From there, I went on to understudy Johanna in Sweeney Todd in London alongside Bryn Terfel and Maria Freidman. In 2008 I joined the West End Cast of Les Miserables as understudy Factory Girl and then in 2010 I joined The Phantom of the Opera as Swing. After a years break of teaching at prestigious Theatre Schools such as Redroofs and Tring Park , I returned to Les Mis in 2013 as Dance Captain and Understudy Madame Thenardier. I was also lucky enough to perform in the 25th Anniversary Concerts of both Les Mis and Phantom at the 02 Arena and The Royal Albert Hall! Teaching has always been a huge part of my life and I am passionate about inspiring confidence in performers young or old, giving them the tools and techniques they need to use their voices safely in a supportive environment!
