An association of Radio Controlled Model Slope Soaring Glider enthusiasts We are a group of friendly gliding enthusiasts who meet, usually at the weekends in the hills above Leek, Staffordshire, England to fly slope soaring gliders of various types. Of a weekend you will see a variety of fibreglass rocket ships. F3F racers, foam wings, scale models, and general sports models. All fliers must have BWSF insurance before you can fly. It is a members and invited guests club.
We have flying sites for every wind direction with nearby access to road parking. We also hold a few competitions each year, most of which are open to members. We also hold a scale event. For more details see the site.
