High School

Opportunity and achievement for all. Our secondary school in Leeds is for 11-18 year old students. Our 'outstanding' Sixth Form welcomes new students.
We firmly believe in opportunity and achievement for all and are proud to provide a first class education which aims to equip all students with the confidence, competence, knowledge, skills and understanding to fit easily and actively into a rapidly changing society.

We aim to ensure that all students enjoy learning and achieve their potential, not only in their studies but also in sporting, creative and practical endeavours.

We encourage hard work, courtesy, good behaviour and service to our community.  We provide many opportunities to develop these attributes both inside and outside of the classroom.

Happy end of half-term everyone, have a lovely break and see you on the 30th!

Do you have a business who can offer our students careers advice and guidance? Why not have a stall at our Careers Fair. You can get in touch via our website, please do share with anyone you think maybe interested, thank you!

Thanks to everyone for coming to our Sixth Form Open Evening tonight. We had a jam packed Hall, smiley faces and fantastic Student Ambassadors who worked tirelessly, so a big thank you from us!

Looking forward to seeing everyone at our Sixth Form Open Evening tonight. First talk in the Hall at 6pm, see you there!

* Parents/carers, we wanted to let you know * Traffic Wardens now have a vehicle which looks solely at the yellow zig zags outside schools. The cameras on the vehicle are designed so that they pick up any vehicle that has stopped in that area and it takes a short footage for evidence, the keeper is then sent a ticket in the post. The traffic warden doesn’t need to stop and the driver probably won’t know. Thanks for your support as always.

Come and work at our lovely school. We currently have vacancies for a teacher of Resistant Materials/Product Design and a Pastoral Support Worker. We'd love to hear from you and please do share with anyone you think maybe interested, thanks!

In July, our students embarked on the journey of a lifetime to Borneo. They helped local communities and had a little fun along the way! Read about what they got up to and a big well done for us!

In July, 47 students travelled to France and Belgium on our annual battlefields trip to remember the 89 soldiers from Horsforth who died in World War 1. Read about their memorable trip.

What a fantastic turnout we've had at our open evening tonight. We've seen so many excited students (and parents!) and lots of impressive things going on! We hope you enjoyed yourselves.

We're looking forward to welcoming everyone to our Open Evening later today. You can hear from our Headteacher at 6pm and 7pm. We hope you enjoy your visit.

Come along to our Sixth Form open evening on Wednesday 18th October at 6pm. We look forward to welcoming current Year 11 students and students from other schools interested in joining our 'Outstanding’ Ofsted graded Sixth Form from 2018 onwards. Here's what to expect.

Our battlefields trip was an especially important journey for one Sixth Form student, Ethan, who had the chance to visit the gravestone of his great-great-grandfather.
