Well done to our Provident-Polska business, named one of the country’s leading employers for a fifth consecutive year. Provident Polska is one of a small group of businesses awarded the prestigious title, including BNP Paribas, Orange and ING, and was presented with the award by the Top Employers Institute at a recent ceremony in Warsaw. The Top Employers Institute recognises companies striving to reach the highest workplace standards and rewards those who demonstrate outstanding company culture, processes and polices, and career development opportunities. This accolade is further evidence of the way in which Provident Polska continues to implement innovative HR policies and provides an open, supportive and productive working environment. David Parkinson, Country Manager of Provident Polska commented: “We are delighted to be named one of the best Polish employers for the fifth year in a row. This award reiterates our position as a market leader for non-bank finance and shows that we provide all our employees with the best possible support, working environment and opportunities for professional development.”

Our Czech colleagues donated over 450 old mobile phones at their recent annual conference in Prague. A team of IT colleagues from our Head Office in Leeds ventured out in to the local Wakefield and Castleford communities before Christmas. Split in to three groups, they helped out at Spectrum People (promote social inclusion for vulnerable people through training, education and support) and Reflections House (hostel for homelessness and recovery post-drug or alcohol issues). Jaz, Peter, Helen Baron and Nick are pictured above at Spectrum People's garden, where they spent the day weeding.
