We have a Dice Masters event coming up! The next ‘Ministry of Dice Presents’ event is here! We’ll be holding our next event in partnership with Crescent Gaming Consortium in Leamington Spa on the 5th May. The event will be using the 2018 rotation for Modern Constructed and will adhere to the legal set list outlined in the Wizkids announcement found here: https://wizkids.com/dicemasters/dice-masters-rotation-2018/ We appreciate that this is early (official rotation doesn’t happen until the 1st June 2018) but we thought this would be a great opportunity to get some practice in and try your most creative build out in time for the Nationals weekend at UK Games Expo this year. We will be holding 5 rounds of Swiss. There will be no top cut. If time permits we may even throw a 6th round of Swiss in, because... well... why not? Let’s fit as many games in as possible. There’ll be no “Top Cut” - we don’t believe in it at the MoD, we think everyone should get to play all day. Rounds will be 45 minutes long, best of 3, with 5 rounds at time. Prize support is sponsored by the Ministry of Dice Podcast and will mark the return of the legendary “True Mister Six Prize Box of Mystery”. Every game win will earn you a raffle ticket, which will correspond with a prize in True Mister Six’s Mystery Box - so even if you’re having a rough day of play even a couple of game wins will mean you walk away with a little bit of swag. We have many items in the box; loads of themed gifts & promo cards as well as some extra exclusive Dice Masters surprises you don’t see every day and can only acquire at such an event. There will be some special additional prizes arranged for first place, second place, ‘Fellowship’, and a much coveted special limited edition treat for the last place contender. Registration for the event starts at 9am and the first round will kick off at 10.15 prompt. Tickets for entry will be £8 and pre-purchase of tickets can be made in the shop or via email at hello@theccgandboardgamesocial.com we have a player cap of 24, so pre-book to avoid disappointment.
