********** Special Meeting********** A special meeting has been called on Friday the 2nd of March at 6:30pm for all members. A good attendance is requested.

************ TAM BELL *************** On Saturday the 10th of March Tam Bell is returning to the bowling club. Tickets will be avaliable behind the bar at a price of £3.

AGM 2018: President - Bobby Smith Vice President - David Muircroft Secretary - Derek Bryson The opening of the green will take place on the 21st of April. The decision was also take for fees to be increased to £130 which can be paid in full or via monthly subscription. ***First time members wishing to join can do so with a saving in membership fees for the season at just £75*** You will also be offered the opportunity to try the game at our Open Day or play practices with a member for the cost of £3.

Following last night's AGM, everyone at Law Bowling Club would like to extend their thanks to Boab Wilson on a great year as President of the club. We now wish new President Bobby Smith all the best for the year ahead.

A reminder to members of tonight's AGM

***Annual General Meeting*** The club's AGM will take place on Wednesday 7th of February at 19:30. A full attendance of members would be appreciated.

The funeral of Peter Torrance will take place at Law Parish Church on Saturday the 27th of January at 11:00 and then onto Cambusnethan Cemetery, following to Law Bowling Club.

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Peter Torrance, a long time member of Law Bowling Club and a friend to many. Our condolences go out to Peter's family at this sad time. Will update funeral arrangements when known.

We hope that everybody is enjoying the festive period and has had a brilliant Christmas! Just a quick reminder to all members that starting from the 1st of January 2018, fees will be able to be paid via a monthly standing order, rather than an annual subscription. The details of how to pay this is highlighted in the letter you received earlier in the month. However, please do not hesitate to contact if you require a new letter or some more information surrounding this. Lastly, we hope you all have a great new year and we look forward to seeing you again in 2018.

Law Bowling Club's annual Games day takes place on Saurday the 6th of January. Starting from 2pm it is open to everyone to come and enjoy Carpet Bowls, Dominoes, Darts and a few drinks. If interested please append names on sheets in the club or contact us.
