Description
Providing a professional Piping service locally and beyond I am Pipe Major David Duncan.
A Piper of over 30 years experience.
Born and bred in kincardenshire my piping career started in Stonehaven Pipe band where we advanced to grade 1 in a record 4 seasons. I then joined the Gordon Highlanders as a Regimental Piper where i became the youngest ever Piper to complete the Senior Pipers course at Edinburgh Castle.
Over my Piping career in the army i have played at five Edinburgh Military Tattoos where had the honour of being the Solo Piper playing on the ramparts at the finale. I have also Piped Solo for the Queen and many other Royal members at Balmoral castle as Piper for the Royal Guard. I have played Bagpipes all over the World at every possible type of event from Royal Birthdays to maiden voyages of Holiday Cruise Ships also playing at the Red Square Moscow as part of a british envoy.
I am currently Pipe Major and founder member of the recently formed "Howe O'the Mearns Pipe Band"
As above indicates I am Extremely experienced and Professional. I am able to cater for any requirements you may have and my rates are very competetive.
