facebook.comThanks again to Trossachs Trout humungus stocking today. Great to see Jack out on delivery and thanks to the Cameron and Brian for assisting him appreciated guys. Report wise fish freely rising and feeding everyday and night to Dries or very small unweighted Nymphs. Strange really just as many fish being caught free drifting Buzzers and Diawl Bachs. As always the NewHaylie looks after itself fishing wise with many new visitors over the holiday period. We are fishing from 8.45am - 10.30pm at present. Clear weekend this week and a loch full of rising trout. Weed cutting has been continuous every couple of days to keep the place fishing as normal water clarity is Gin clear as always no matter the weather or time of year the banks are manicured so the place is looking and fishing bang on At present.
Time for a wee catch up on NewHaylie: Best method and no surprise has been top of the water. The fly life is in abundance now with good hatches of Buzzers and pond Olives coming off during the day and an occasional burst of Daddies around. Mid evening the Caneis have been consistent although in small patches around the water. When the temperature has been soaring fly activity drops off and Diawl Bachs, Crunchers and Buzzers have worked well just under the surface. Those fishing the Bung have been catching well about 4 to 5 feet down in the deeper water. Floating Line: Best flies have been Double Deckers, Grunters, various CDC parachute and F wing Not forgetting Hoppers and small Daddies. The lads have been catching since they have been on the water this morning. Looks like the catch rates will be high again as we were top heavy this week in stocking. Double and triple hook up are on the cards today again. With Senga Murray.

Overcast and flat calm some huge lunks thrashing about today. Tried to capture an image of today's trout food just couldn't get a focus on it.
