SPORTSHALL ATHLETICS AND GIANT HEPTATHLON – following last year’s successful journey for Langholm Primary School, Sportshall Athletics will be returning to the school on Wednesday mornings, starting Wednesday 4th September. These sessions, which are free of charge, will run from 8.00am – 8.55am and are for children aged Primary 5 – Primary 7. In addition, and new for this year, we will be building on the success of last year’s Sportshall team by opening up these sessions for children aged S1 – S2! This will allow the school to work towards entering a team in the Scottish Athletics Giant Heptathlon Event for Secondary Schools. These sessions will be supported and delivered with help from Young Sports Leaders from the school and volunteers from The Muckletoon Joggers.
