Congratulations to S5 pupils Callum Jeffrey and Ryan Johnstone who enjoyed a successful day at Hawick Golf Club Junior Open yesterday. Callum took the SCRATCH Prize while Ryan was overall handicap winner. Congratulations and very well done to both boys!

Please take time to read this with your young person and discuss with them their learning. Senior Phase Information Booklets will be sent home with pupils tomorrow. SPORTSHALL ATHLETICS AND GIANT HEPTATHLON – following last year’s successful journey for Langholm Primary School, Sportshall Athletics will be returning to the school on Wednesday mornings, starting Wednesday 4th September. These sessions, which are free of charge, will run from 8.00am – 8.55am and are for children aged Primary 5 – Primary 7. In addition, and new for this year, we will be building on the success of last year’s Sportshall team by opening up these sessions for children aged S1 – S2! This will allow the school to work towards entering a team in the Scottish Athletics Giant Heptathlon Event for Secondary Schools. These sessions will be supported and delivered with help from Young Sports Leaders from the school and volunteers from The Muckletoon Joggers.
