It is a great pleasure to announce that Martin Bova has been promoted to Senior Consultant at Melbreck Lancaster after hitting his target with some to spare. In his nearly three years within the business, Martin has increasingly shown his commitment to the Melbreck cause, He lives our values, and is passionate in everything that he does. He has been working harder than ever recently to achieve this goal. His performance has increased year on year and he is an integral part of our business and future. Everyone that works with Martin values his input, and our clients and candidates also love working with him. On top of this Martin is a great guy who is also a lot of fun to be around – his lyrical masterpiece at the company annual meeting in December was a highlight! We are incredibly pleased to be able to recognise Martin and his efforts, and cannot wait to be see him achieving more in the future. Well done Martin, it is a pleasure to give you this richly deserved promotion.

After three and a half years since we incorporated, we have some fantastic news at Melbreck about someone who has been a huge part in our growth to become an established business, and who will continue to be an integral part and driving force for our future growth and development as a company. Mathew Church joined Melbreck in February 2013, when as a business we had been trading for a little under 6 months. After working for a few weeks in Lancaster, he was given the opportunity of opening a second office for the business in Reading, to build our offering and markets in the South of the UK. Mathew came in to the business with some good experience and a determination to succeed, and by working incredibly hard and smart, offering our clients and candidates excellent consultancy services, and keeping things open and straight forward for them whilst delivering every time, Mathew quickly built our reputation and offering in the South up from nothing, in to a consistently high performing, profitable business. Whilst his individual performances have been and remain outstanding, he has also been a crucial part of developing and growing our business as a whole, setting the foundations for what should be a very bright future for our company and everyone involved in it. He has helped us to offer great opportunities to people within the business, and also to show them how to be successful consistently within our industry, developing them within their careers. Mathew truly lives our values – it is hard to think of anybody more committed, adaptable, passionate and straight forward in everything they do in life, not just in work. These values shine though in everything he does and he has been a big part in defining who we are as a business at Melbreck. In February last year Mathew became the first person within Melbreck to gain promotion to Manager -and it is now a great pleasure to announce that he has now been further recognised for his efforts and achievements by becoming the first person within our journey as a company to be asked to become a Director of the business! Well done Mathew – you thoroughly deserve this and it is a pleasure to welcome you to our board of Directors. It's been a great three years since you joined us, and with you in the business driving things forward with us, we will have a lot more to celebrate over the coming years!

UPDATE: Thanks to a very generous donation from one of our contractors, the amount that Mathew Church raised for Sports Relief through his Triathlon efforts is now at £605!!! This is more than triple the original target. Thanks to all who donated!

Congratulations to our very own Mathew Church who today completed the Green Park Triathlon, and in doing so smashed his £200 target, with his current total raised at £405 for Sport Relief. He finished the race in a very respectable 1 hour and 2 minutes, doing so while dressed as a cheerleader - very fetching! Well done Matt!
