FULL TIME CHEF REQUIRED We are currently looking to recruit a experienced full time grill chef to work in a privately owned and run family business operating at the "Cart and Horses" for over 25 years. We are a 17th Centuary country Pub/Resturant set in 1 & 1/2 acres of grounds situated between Watford and Hemel Hempstead. We only have a small bar area seating 40 covers inside but have large landscaped gardens that can seat over 150 along with our purpose build marquee. You will join a friendly team and must be comfortable and confident with the day to day operation and standards of a kitchen, maintaining quality, for brunch/lunch and dinner services and including catering for our private functions. We are looking for someone adaptable, energetic and approachable as we are a very community, family and regular friendly establishment. The ideal candidate would be passionate about food and work with the owner and general manager to assure the consistency of the menu and service. You will be paid from £21,000 - £25,000 p/a depending on experience. (mostly split shifts / some straight through). Plus £2,500 - £3,000 in tips The hours of work will involve weekends, evenings, days and all standard UK holidays. You will have 2 days off each week and receive 28 days holiday allowance. Double room with en-suite shower room available if required This is a good opportunity for someone that would like to further his or her experience within this industry.
