Evening troops!! We have put in for a change to the license here at Faodail. In a nutshell, we have asked to have our license an hour earlier than what we have at the moment, this will mean we will be able to offer a wee dram when we hold funerals and wakes. We have been approached by so many people in the village regarding this and also wanting us to hold some charity events. We can't do this until we update the very outdated licence. We have also asked to have the original unicorn licence put into our own name. If anyone fancies having a wee chat about our changes or has any concerns then please feel free to pop in and see us. Just a wee service update for everyone We will be closed on Monday 20th of November and Monday 27th November due to planned maintenance. We will have a note up on the door and also on our answer phone but spread the word :)

Sunday Roast today is....... Roast pork, apple sauce, gravy, mash, roast veg, roast potatoes and a home made Yorkshire pudding! This is what Sundays were made for folks!!!!

We cater for alot of different things here at Faodail, from intimate dining to big bookings and parties. We feed many different people from all walks of life and with lots of different stories to tell. When we get a wee thank you card dropped in just for doing our job, and doing it well, it makes us stop and take stock a bit. We have loved every minute of opening Faodail and trying to make it the best restaurant around. It's been a massive learning curve, it's been tough, it's been emotional. But above all, it's been amazing meeting so many lovely warm and welcoming people along the way! We just wanted to thank each and every person who has popped in, whether it be for a quick bite to eat before picking up the kids from school, to celebrating their birthday, to just coming through because they can't face cooking on a dreich Tuesday night! Can we also say a massive happy birthday to everyone who has been in to celebrate with us this week, special mention to the lovely Dea who has not only been a cracking customer but has also become a great friendly face to myself and our staff.
